Stafford Loan

If you are attending school halftime a Stafford Loan is probably the best for you. Stafford loans are low-interest Federal loans at 3.46% during in school, grace and deferment periods. 

During other periods, the interest rates are 4.06%. You do not have to begin repaying a Stafford loan until six mouths after you leave school. (Stafford borrowers might consider making interest-only payments during school while interest rates are low to cut down on loan costs during repayment.) Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
